Chair - CEO Kalyra
Kalyra exists so that people can live in communities where they feel they belong, enhancing living. I have been CEO at Kalyra for 11 years, with 600 staff, 116 volunteers supporting 1737 Clients/residents qwe work across the Adelaide Hills, Southern suburbs, Fleurieu Peninsula and Murray Bridge.
I have a background in Health, Professional Regulation, Ethics, and have served in the Royal Australian Navy.
I have been with the Innovation Hub since 2015 – establishing the Aged Care Innovation Hub constitution and keeping the lights on during covid were some challenging times but, building consistent membership growth, and welcoming interstate members is taking the Innovation Hub from strength to strength.
Innovation in the sector is critical to the future and increased complexity means we need scale. The Hub gives a community of practice, trusted collaborators and diversity of thinking to successfully ideate, research and develop innovative responses for older people. I am inspired every day by the collegiality, innovative thinking, and discussions with a fabulous bunch of CEO’s.
