St Basil’s Homes (SA) is a purpose‑driven aged care provider committed to delivering high-quality care for older people, ensuring our values of Courtesy and Kindness shine through in everything we do.
I have served as Chief Executive since 2017 and have the privilege of leading approximately 330 staff across three residential aged care homes, community respite and 48 independent social housing units.
Whilst my background is in finance, I have always wanted to help people and have fun. This is reflected in my leadership style which is firmly grounded in connection – I believe strong relationships, trust and culture are what ultimately deliver great outcomes.
St Basil’s joined the Innovation Hub Board in November 2023, with a key highlight being the opportunity to connect with like‑minded organisations and CEOs who are genuinely committed to embedding innovation across the aged care sector for the greater good.The Hub is important to me as it provides St Basil’s with a platform and collective voice capable of influencing meaningful change, and the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore innovation with peers — something that is both hard to quantify and difficult to find in our busy worlds. I accidentally fell into aged care over 20 years ago and never left — the purpose‑driven nature of the work continues to inspire me every day and being part of organisations like the Innovation Hub keeps my passion for the sector ignited.
