General Manager - Alwyndor

Alwyndor has been supporting Adelaide’s southern metro ageing community to live healthy, engaged and fulfilled lives and for over 70 years. It delivers on-site residential living, respite and transitional care, and therapy and wellness services as well as support at home and CHSP services.
Beth has been General Manager since September 2019 and Alwyndor employs 580 staff and volunteers. From our Hove location we provide services to 144 residents, and over 3,000 Support at Home, CHSP and private clients.

Beth has extensive leadership and management experience in both government and community sectors and is on a number of boards across a range of industries and organisations including estara and the Catalyst Foundation. She is a strong advocate for social justice and for the delivery of the best possible outcomes for both organisations and individuals. Her strength is her ability to support and develop those around her, championing, encouraging and equipping leaders and teams to be courageous in their responses to challenges and to develop creative approaches to projects, programs and problems.

Alwyndor joined the Hub in July 2024, enabling us to work with likeminded people and involve Alwyndor staff in a number of initiatives of the Hub, using their expertise to inform and be part of projects and working groups with genuine real world outcomes for older people.

The Hub is an organisation that is genuinely committed to improving the lives of older people in our communities. The Board’s shared experience, depth of knowledge and passion combine to ensure we explore innovative ways to tackle issues. This aligns with Beth’s commitment to engaging with individuals and communities and making a difference in all that she does
