Bene is built upon the worldly values of honesty, respect, integrity, family, trust, and time and is focused on assisting the local Italian and CALD communities in SA. I have been CEO with Bene for 14 years. Care and everything that supports it is provided by 800 staff and 60 volunteers. We provide residential care for 334 older Australians, and support 900 clients in their own homes. We centre our services around these locations St Agnes, Campbelltown, Woodville and Hahndorf. My background is accounting and financial advice, I am a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant and I ran my consulting firm for 25 years. I joined the Hub in 2016 as it first formalised collaboration through an Memorandum Of Understanding. Seeing it grow and having central involvement in taking it from an MOU between organisations to a legally independent Not For Profit with Charitable Status has been a highlight for me.
The Hub works outside other member organizations, its based on innovation and the input of the CEOs in invaluable. This is a fantastic group of interactive members helping deliver innovation to the aged care industry
